I'll say it again: The game is EASY and I cannot tell to someone 'the game is easy as a cakewalk unless you decide not to use OP items' without laughing. The game is naturally easy because these items exist, whether I choose to use them or not. This is what people don't get when I complain about items that make the game vastly a cakewalk like health chalice. Think I'll wait for a price drop on 3DS since I also saw reviewers stating the WiiU/3DS versions are superior to Steam. I'm going through NG+ atm and it does feel like it should be the normal difficulty straight up, with the 'New Game' difficulty being somewhat of an easy mode that should work like training wheels (go through 4 knights then get a message saying 'nice try but you should go normal mode if you want to proceed further' or something similar). Knights that gave me trouble before (Spectre/Mole) I've defeated on my first try this time without taking more than a few hits.

I know I'm being more careful, but I'm also just that much better at the game. I'm one knight from the tower on NG+ and I've definitely died far fewer times than on the original run. 引用自 William Dogood：Yeah I'm finding it surprisingly easy. Obviously they don't need to be completely redone, but Megaman Powered Up had the right idea by making minor adjustments to the level layout (removing tiles here or there to change jumps, or adding extra environmental hazards) on harder difficulties just to throw the player off, on top of enemy layouts.Īnd yeah, double damage is almost completely irrelevant everywhere except for bosses, plus without anything to spend money on you have no reason to try your hand at the side rooms which were often the hardest parts of a level. I agree that the levels should have been remixed a bit to change up the pace.
